Home and location Detached villa with private swimming pool, situated on large grounds and at about 2 km from the characteristic village of Montecchio. The house is comfortably and tastefully furnished and with many amenities. The beautiful, well-kept garden has many little nooks for sitting, a lot of room to play and a lovely pool. There is also a great view over the green and hilly surroundings. Montecchio, where you can find all you need in terms of shops and amenities is about 25 km southeast of Orvieto. This is a lovely environment that offers many opportunities for excursions. There are several marked walking trails, including one to the top of the mountain opposite the house. It is said that in very clear weather you can even see Rome and the sea from there. The beautiful city of Orvieto is on top of a volcanic rock; it is a special sight when you drive to it along the motorway. The city has many narrow streets, beautiful churches, nice shops, an interesting museum and underground caves that have been dug over the last 3,000 years by the residents and which are now on display. In Montecchio there is an Etruscan necropolis (burial). During the summer, in this village, several village festivals are organized. You can also visit the lovely towns of Todi, Orte, Viterbo, Cività di Bagnoregio, Perugia and Assisi (about 70 km).
