Home and location Fully detached house in a peaceful setting with private pool and splendid view over the valley and the hills. The house is about one kilometre from the picturesque village of Brue-Auriac, where you will find a small supermarket, bakery, terrace and restaurants. The house consists of a main house with living room, small kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom and toilet, plus a separate house with one bedroom with a double bed, shower, wc and washing table in the bedroom. Brue-Auriac is approximately 11 km northeast of the lovely town of Saint-Maximin, famous for its imposing basilica and its intimate town centre. There are lots of possibilities for cycling and walking in the area (the GR 99 hiking trail passes through Brue-Auriac). In the area there are other attractive villages such as Barjols, Salernes (famous for its splendid tiles and ceramics – lots of things available at great prices), Pontevès, Carcès, Lorgues and Correns. The brilliant Lac de Ste Croix is a good half hour’s drive and is well worth a visit as are the imposing canyons of the Gorges du Verdon. The sea is an hour or so away at Cassis and La Ciotat. The lovely cities of Aix en Provence, Marseilles and Toulon also deserve a visit. Golf near Flassans (Golf de Barberoux), approx. 17 km.
