Home and location Comfortable, semi-detached holiday villa with terrace and shared pool, beautifully situated on a domain in the hills of Val d'Orcia in Tuscany near Montepulciano, Pienza and Sinalunga. The owners have managed to transform an ancient farmhouse into a beautiful private resort consisting of o.a. several interconnected villas with a contemporary and bright interior. I78.158 is one of the villas (see I78.156 to I78.164). All accommodations have a nice private terrace with garden furniture. You can also relax by the large swimming pool that you share with the other guests. A breakfast service is available on request and in the immediate vicinity you can discover the Tuscan cuisine, participate in wine tastings, follow cooking courses or searching trufles with a guide. At the reception of the resort they can give you all the necessary information.The peaceful location combined with the proximity to beautiful towns and cultural highlights makes the resort an ideal place from which you can explore Tuscany. Besides the numerous palazzi, the elegant churches and the beautiful squares, Montepulciano is also known for its many restaurants and good wines. In the vicinity are also interesting places such as Chianciano Terme and Pienza, the art town with the former Pope's Palace. Slightly further, but within easy reach of your holiday accommodation are Cortona, Siena, Arezzo and Perugia. Something completely different is a trip to Lake Trasimeno. You can take a nice boat trip from Castiglione del Lago to the Isola Maggiore. In Torrita di Siena (7 km) and Sinalunga (12 km) you will find all amenities.
