Home and location Fully detached, natural stone house with private swimming pool, 6 km from Radicofani and 8 km von Celle sul Rigo in Tuscany. The characteristic holiday home is beautifully situated on a large private property and you have a wide view of the beautiful, hilly landscape. The house consists of two apartments that are connected via an internal door, ideal for a larger group or for two families who want to spend the holidays together but still want to keep their privacy. Both apartments have a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment on the left has three bedrooms, one on the ground floor, the other has two bedrooms. Radicofani, where you will find all the basic services, is located in the Orcia valley about 75 kilometers southeast of Siena on the historic Via Francigena pilgrimage route. Sights in the picturesque village are the castle with the impressive tower, the San Pietro church and the botanical garden. The location of the house is ideal for exploring the great region. There are numerous picturesque villages and towns in the area such as San Casciano dei Bagni (13 km) and Celle sul Rigo (8 km). A visit to Montepulciano is also worthwhile. Apart from the numerous palazzi and the beautiful squares, Montepulciano is of course known for its many restaurants and good wines. The city of Orvieto, surrounded by vineyards, also deserves a visit, the Duomo is one of the most beautiful Romanesque-Gothic churches in Italy.
