Home and location Detached stone house with a private swimming pool, peacefully situated on a hill, at approx. 2 km from the village of Palazzone. The house has been restored recently and many of its original elements have been retained. It has spacious rooms that are furnished in Tuscan style. At several points, you will enjoy a lovely view of the hilly surroundings. Palazzone is situated approx. 8 km east of the lovely town of San Casciano dei Bagni. The Monte Amiata, a splendid nature reserve that offers excellent opportunities for walking and (mountain) biking, is nearby. In the surrounding area there are many characteristic towns that you shouldn’t miss: Radicofani, Abbadia San Salvatore, Bagno Vignoni and San Quirico d'Orcia. Somewhat further away, the health spa of Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano (famous for its wine!), Chiusi (Etruscan remains) and Siena (90 km) are also well worth visiting.
