Home and location Detached house with private pool, set quietly near San Gennaro, approximately 15 km northeast of Lucca. There is another house on the estate, some 15 m from the house., where the owner lives. They do not use the pool, though. The house is located on the hillside, offering a lovely view of Lucca and the surroundings; one can even see the sea. The region offers many possibilities for interesting daytrips. The beautiful cultural cities of Lucca, Pisa, Montecatini, Florence and Siena can be easily reached and are well worth visiting. Collodi, the 'native town' of Pinocchio, is also an interesting attraction, as are Volterra, San Gimignano (native town of Leonardo da Vinci) and the marble quarries of Carrara. Nature enthusiasts are recommended to visit the 'Grotte del Vento' (approx. 25 km), one of the most beautiful caves in Italy. Delightful walks can be made in the wooded and mountainous region north of Lucca, which also features many picturesque villages. Sea: 35 km.
