Home and location Fully detached holiday house with a large swimming pool, quietly located at 4 km from both the lively town of Mazan and the charming town of Carpentras. The holiday house is located on the edge of the owner's farm, who is involved in growing lavender plants. The neighbouring, original farmhouse is occupied by the owner. Both houses are, however, perfectly separated from each other by means of a wall. The use of the large swimming pool and jacuzzi is restricted to the tenants. The nicely furnished house has three bedrooms (each with its own theme, namely wood, iron and stone), all of which have their own bathroom facilities. The third bedroom can only be reached from the outside. It is possible to rent the holiday house with two bedrooms at a lower rate. Next to the house and from the roof terrace you have a beautiful view of the highest mountain in Provence, the Mont Ventoux (1909 m). You can reach Mazan via a beautiful road in just a few minutes. You can go there for all your groceries and there are nice terraces and several restaurants. But Carpentras is also easily accessible, a visit to the large weekly market on Friday morning is definitely worth it. There are numerous hiking and cycling opportunities in the immediate area. The Mont-Ventoux is widely known for the Tour de France and is visited throughout the year by many cycling enthusiasts who consider it an honor to have reached the top of this legendary mountain. In the area there are many interesting places to discover. Apart from interesting cities like Avignon and Orange, the smaller towns such as Bédoin, Malaucène, Vaison-la-Romaine, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Sault are also well worth a visit.
