Home and location Fully detached house, very peaceful setting with a private pool, located 1,800 m from the lovely Provençal village of Mazan. The house is set amidst vineyards and olive groves in a lovely country area. There is a brilliant view from the land and the house in all directions. To the back of the house looking across the olive groves to the highest peak in Provence Mont Ventoux (1,909 m), but also across the vineyards and the surrounding hills. You can do your grocery shopping in the picturesque village of Mazan. You reach the village by car in a few minutes along a lovely track. Mazan has some nice terraces and restaurants. Mazan is north of the splendid town of Carpentras. There are lots of possibilities for walking and cycling in the area. Mont Ventoux is well known from the Tour de France and visited all year round by devotees of cycling that want the honour of reaching the top of this legendary peak. In the region there are lots of interesting towns and villages to discover such as Orange, Avignon, Caromb, Vaison la Romaine, the intimate little place Isle sur la Sorgue and of course Sault with its lavender fields (July!). You can also take day trips to the lovely Luberon mountain range with its breath-taking villages and landscapes or to the Dentelles de Montmirail. Golf: Avignon (25 km).
