Home and location Lovely holiday home with private pool in the Provencal village of Piolenc, 7 km from Orange. The tastefully furnished house has a large covered terrace and a beautiful fenced garden with comfortable garden furniture. Within walking distance (300 m) there is a bakery, a supermarket and a pharmacy. There are also several restaurants and cafes. The central location of Piolenc makes it possible to explore the department the Vaucluse as well as the departments Drôme, Ardèche and Gard. In the Vaucluse are charming wine villages such as Saint-Cécile-les-Vignes, Cairanne and Rasteau and the town of Vaison-la-Romaine is easily accessible. A trip to the Mont Ventoux is really recommended. In the Drôme you can enjoy the purple fields around Grignan and Dieulefit during the lavender season. The attractive little town Nyons is especially cozy on Thursday, market day. In the Ardèche you should not miss a trip through the impressive gorges of the river. You can rent canoes in Saint-Martin d'Ardèche (25 km). In the Gard, the Pont-du-Gard, one of the best preserved Roman aqueducts, is really worth a visit.
