Home and location Fully detached holiday house with private swimming pool near Vidauban in Provence. The tastefully decorated house is situated on a large fenced plot in a quiet residential area near the hamlet of Chaumes, 4 km west of Vidauban. From the covered terrace and at the swimming pool you have a beautiful view over the forests and the surrounding hills. You can go to lively Vidauban for all your groceries and there is a large supermarket. On the village square you will find a few cozy terraces and restaurants; on Sundays there is a beautiful large Provençal market in the center. Vidauban is located south of Draguignan and northwest of Saint-Tropez in a wooded and hilly area. Both experienced and less experienced hikers will enjoy the beautiful Les Maures nature reserve with the beautiful Lac des Escarcets (no bathing water). You can make trips to the impressive abbey of Le Thoronet or to characteristic villages such as Lorgues, Les Arcs, Le Luc, La Garde-Freinet and Grimaud. The renowned Gorges du Verdon are also easily accessible from your holiday home and definitely worth a visit. The beaches of the Mediterranean at Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël, Sainte-Maxime or Saint-Tropez are approximately 45 minutes away. The closest are the beaches of Sainte-Maxime which you can also reach along a beautiful tourist road, via the D72 and Plan-de-la-Tour. There is a golf course at La Motte at 21 km. NB. In May the swimming pool is only operational when renting for a minimum of two weeks.

Heel mooi huis, ruim, stil, goed zwembad, goede ligging als vertrekpunt om de Var te bezoeken. Wel altijd de auto nodig; Dorp ligt veraf.
