Home and location Detached holiday home with private swimming pool near Rochegude in the Drôme Provençale. The comfortably furnished house is situated on a large shady area in a quiet, wooded residential area less than a kilometer from the picturesque wine village of Rochegude. There are some facilities such as a restaurant, a cafe, a grocery store and a bakery. You can also do all your shopping in the nearby villages of Suze-la-Rousse and Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes (5 km). The large supermarkets can be found in Bollène (8 km). The central location makes it possible to explore the Vaucluse department, as well as the Drôme and Ardèche departments. In the Vaucluse there are well-known wine villages such as Cairanne, Rasteau and Gigondas and the pleasant Vaison-la-Romaine (27 km) is also within easy reach. A trip to the top of the Mont-Ventoux from Malaucène is definitely recommended. In addition, there are the interesting cities of Orange and Avignon. In the Drôme you can enjoy the purple fields around Grignan and Dieulefit during the lavender season. The attractive town of Nyons is especially worth visiting on the Thursday market day. Finally, in the Ardèche you should not miss a trip through the imposing Gorges of the river. You can rent canoes in Saint-Martin d’Ardèche (25 km).
