Home and location Beautifully situated holiday home with private pool and large garden on the edge of the village of Saint-Christol-de-Rodières on the border of the departments of Gard and Ardèche. The Ardèche River flows just 8 km away at Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche. Here you can rent canoes and swim, there is also a tree climbing path. There are some cozy terraces and restaurants on the water and you will find all basic amenities such as a grocery store and a bakery. The holiday home is in a wonderful rural location amidst a gently sloping landscape of forests and vineyards and offers a lot of privacy. It is therefore a good place to relax on the spacious terrace and by the pool. Besides a canoe trip on the Ardèche, there are many other excursions to make. At a short distance you can visit some of the most beautiful caves in France: the Aven d'Orgnac and the Grotte de Saint-Marcel. There are also characteristic villages in the area with lively weekly markets such as Barjac and Goudargues. The lively regional towns of Pont-Saint-Esprit and Bagnols-sur-Cèze are also worth a visit, as is the well-known city of Orange (39 km).
