Home and location Fully detached, comfortable holiday house with private swimming pool near Méjannes-le-Clap, halfway between Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and Uzès. The tastefully decorated house has a beautifully landscaped garden, a spacious covered terrace and a pleasant conservatory. The house is situated in a small residence with approx. 20 villas in the holiday village Méjannes-le-Clap in the valley of the Cèze, a popular place for nature lovers and walkers. There are no less than 100 km of marked hiking trails in the immediate area. The Cèze flows over 5 km, there are several beaches on the river and you can rent canoes and kayaks in several places. There are also possibilities for escalade (climbing). In the center of the village (700 m) is a small supermarket, there is a bakery, a bar and a restaurant. For the large supermarkets and other facilities you can visit the lively town of Saint-Ambroix. There are also plenty of cozy terraces and restaurants here and on Tuesday morning there is a large Provençal market. Due to its central location between the Ardèche, the Cevennes and Provence, the house is an ideal base for making day trips. You should certainly not miss a trip through the impressive Gorges de l'Ardèche and you can also easily explore the rugged Cévennes from your holiday home. You can also visit the cave of Cocalière, the castle of Allègre, the bamboo forest of Anduze or the impressive Cascade du Sautadet. A visit to the historic town of Uzès with the nearby Pont du Gard is also worthwhile. A day trip to Orange or Avignon is also possible
