Home and location This stately holiday house with large private swimming pool is located at the foot of the medieval village of Cornillon. The stone-built house from the 18th century is surrounded by a beautiful garden of 4000 m2 with centuries-old trees and is in a wonderfully quiet location in the valley of the Cèze, just over 1 km from the attractive village of Goudargues. You can relax on the large terrace or at the swimming pool; the pool house has a fully equipped summer kitchen (cooking facilities, dishwasher, etc.). You have a beautiful view of the higher situated Cornillon and the landscape with Mediterranean vegetation. In Goudargues, also known as the Venice of the Gard, you will find cozy terraces and restaurants on the brook that runs through the village. You can also go there for all your daily shopping. The River Cèze flows about 600 m from the holiday house and there is a nice beach. You can swim, canoe and kayak, there is canoe rental in Goudargues. There are numerous trips to be made from the holiday house, such as a trip through the impressive Gorges de l 'Ardèche, a visit to the Aven d'Orgnac (caves), the charming town of Uzès and the nearby Pont du Gard or the city of Orange.
