Home and location Detached house with swimming pool located in a quiet neighbourhood on a small village road in the village of Tour-de-Faure approximately 25 km east of the wine city of Cahors in southwestern France. From the house and the pool there is a magnificent view of the beautiful village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie that is located on the other side of the river Lot. Saint-Cirq-Lapopie was built high up in the rocks and is a famous tourist attraction. From the village there is a magnificent view over the river and the Lot valley. This house is on a piece of land of 2000 m2 and was fully restored in 2008 and has modern decor. The house has a spacious ground floor with a separate TV/sitting room and a spacious living room with open kitchen and sitting area with wood stove. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a lot of space in front of the house with a barn opposite that is not used where you can sit and eat under cover. The barn next to the house on the right is not in use. The large swimming pool (8x4 m) is located on the lower left side of the house. You have a lot of privacy here and a beautiful view of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. On the River Lot you can go fishing, swimming and canoeing. The house is a relatively short distance from some beautiful sights and monuments in the department of the Lot. Well known places in the east of the Dordogne region, such as Gourdon, Sarlat and Beynac are also close enough for day trips. Swimming, fishing and canoeing are available 1 km away on the river Lot. There is a tennis court in Tour-de-Faure (1 km) and bike rentals in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (2 km). In Tour-de-Faure there are some basic services (bakery, post office, restaurants), for other needs there is Limogne (14 km) and Cajarc (18 km).
