Home and location Detached holiday house with a standing swimming pool 2 km from the village of Saint-Laurent-la-Vallée in the Dordogne. You have access to a spacious courtyard and a large area at the back of the house where the swimming pool is located. The house of the owners is right next to the house, but in the garden, in the courtyard and at the swimming pool (for guests only) they provide you with complete freedom and privacy. The natural stone house is tastefully decorated and has a wonderful rural location. From the terrain at the rear you have a wide view of the gently rolling landscape. In the village there is a grocery and there is a bar/restaurant where you can eat outside on nice days. In nearby Saint-Pompon (6.5 km) there are also some facilities such as a pharmacy, a bakery, a small supermarket and a few restaurants. The beautiful surroundings are perfect for walking and cycling, and you can rent canoes for a trip on the Dordogne river at Castelnaud (13 km) and Siorac (15 km). Well-known castles such as Castelnaud, Beynac and Les Milandes are within a 20 km radius of your holiday home, as well as the high-lying fortress town of Domme. Highly recommended is a visit to Sarlat with the historic center, which is enchantingly illuminated at night. The picturesque Belvès is 10 km away and is also worth seeing. There is a golf course at Siorac (10 km).
