Home and location This fully detached holiday house with terrace and garden is within walking distance of the charming Malaucène. The nicely furnished and completely renovated house is at a certain height, so that you have a beautiful view of the village, the surrounding mountains and the valley. The covered terrace is wonderfully sheltered (also against the mistral) and is therefore a great place to have meals. Via a path you can reach the village on foot in about 10 minutes. You will find all facilities (supermarket, bakery, terraces, restaurants) and on Wednesday morning there is a lively weekly market. Malaucène is a paradise for the experienced cyclists with the Mont-Ventoux as a major challenge. In the village there are plenty of options for renting bicycles. Hikers will also enjoy themselves, there are numerous hiking trails in the immediate vicinity, both along the flanks of the Mont-Ventoux and in the nearby Dentelles de Montmirail. It is also nice to take a walk on a warm day through the bed of the river Toulourenc. In addition to the beautiful nature, there is also plenty to do for culture lovers in the region. The cities of Avignon and Orange are worth a visit. Vaison-la Romaine with the large weekly market on Tuesdays and, for those interested, the excavations from Roman times, is only 10 km away. The town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgues with its numerous antique shops is also worth a visit, as are the nearby wine villages of Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise.
