Home and location Fully detached small cottage on the edge of the hamlet of Perrotet, near the village of Gargas. The holiday home is located in the beautiful Luberon region, 6 km west of the lively town of Apt. The house is the l with the left side directly on the road that runs from Perrotet to Gargas, you can park your car in a spacious parking lot at 25 m on the other side of the road. The beautiful village of Roussillon, widely known for its ocher quarries, is only 5 km from your holiday home. In the vicinity there are numerous picturesque, high-altitude villages such as Bonnieux, Gordes, Ménerbes and Lacoste. In the villages you will find small shops, cozy terraces and restaurants. From your holiday home you are quickly in the center of Apt, where you will also find numerous restaurants, cafés and attractive shopping streets. On Saturday morning there is a large Provençal market that you should not miss. A very varied area with lots to see, because the Gorges de la Nesque, Mont Ventoux and the magnificent Abbey of Sénanque are within easy reach. Worth seeing cities such as Avignon and Aix-en-Provence are also easily accessible. In the immediate vicinity are excellent hiking opportunities and experienced cyclists can also enjoy themselves in the varied area. There is an 18-hole golf course at Saumane (30 km). Gargas (3.5 km) has a bakery, a pharmacy, a grocery store, a café and a restaurant. All other facilities, including the large supermarkets, can be found in Apt.
