Home and location Fully detached, modernly furnished holiday house with garden and terrace, quietly located just 800 m from the lively Provencal village of Bédoin. From the garden and from the wonderfully sheltered terrace you have a view of the "Giant of Provence", the Mont-Ventoux. The house is next to that of the owner on a large private domain; however, you have your own, well-separated garden at your disposal. The village, where you will find all amenities, is easily reached on foot. There are plenty of restaurants, cozy terraces, you can buy a newspaper there and there is a good supermarket. On Monday morning, people from all over the area come to the large, lively market. With Mont-Ventoux next door, cycling enthusiasts can indulge themselves (there is a bike rental service in the village), but hikers will also enjoy themselves. There are a number of marked hiking trails around Bédoin, some of which start practically on the doorstep. Tennis courts and the municipal swimming pool, which are open in July and August, are 400 m from the holiday home. On warm days it is also nice to go to the lake at Mormoiron (7 km). Numerous trips can be made in this varied region. In addition to well-known towns such as Vaison-la-Romaine, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, the historic cities of Orange and Avignon are also within easy reach (both 40 km). The lively city of Carpentras is 15 km away.
