Home and location Completely detached holiday home within walking distance of the sea and the wide sandy beach of Portbail-Plage. The house is fully equipped and offers some nice extras. There are bicycles, a surfboard and a paddle. In the enclosed garden there is a cozy seat and you can play jeu-de-boules. On the ground floor there is a large room to store bicycles, etc., the living area, kitchen and two bedrooms are on the first floor, as well as a beautiful terrace. On the second floor is a large sleeping area, ideal for children. Portbail-Plage is connected to the pleasant village of Portbail via a bridge. Here you will find all amenities, such as a supermarket, bakery, butcher and a few restaurants. The location of the holiday home, halfway between Cherbourg and Coutances, is very favorable for excursions. There are also good cycling and walking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The Grande Randonnée 223, the walking route that leads along the coast, near the house. From Barneville-Carteret, a little further away, there is a regular seasonal boat service to the island of Jersey, which is great for a day trip. The landing beaches (Utah Beach) are also easily accessible from your holiday home.
