Home and location Nice holiday house in the village of Portbail in the Manche, 100 m from the bay and 50 m from the charming center. The spacious village house is in a quiet street and is well furnished. Right around the corner you can do some shopping and there are a few restaurants, all facilities are within walking distance. There is WiFi at the tourist office less than 50 m away. There are various parking options in the immediate vicinity of the house. You have access to a private garden with garden furniture and a barbecue on the bay at 1 km. A footpath along the water leads you to this beautiful place where you can picnic, read or just enjoy the view and the game of the tides. Portbail is connected via a bridge to Portbail-Plage with its marina and wide sandy beach, which stretches for miles to Barneville-Plage. From the cozy coastal town of Barneville-Carteret there is a regular boat connection with the island of Jersey during the season and a day trip to the English island is highly recommended. It is also nice to take a look at the impressive tip of the Manche, the Cap de la Hague. The landing beaches (Utah Beach) are also easily accessible from Portbail. If you want to visit a city then both Cherbourg and Coutances are certainly worth a visit (both around 40 km). There are tennis courts in the village and a golf course is 7 km away at Saint-Jean-de-la-Rivière.
