Home and location A completely detached holiday house near Portbail in the Manche, just 150 m from the bay and 2 km from the sandy beaches of Portbail-Plage. The well-furnished house has a nice, fenced garden from where you overlook the bay. The location is wonderfully quiet at 600 m from the lively village, where you can go to for all your groceries. There are also a few restaurants and terraces. There is a nice market on Tuesday morning. From your holiday house you can reach the center within 15 minutes on foot via the coastal path. Portbail is connected to Portbail-Plage via a bridge. Here is a marina and of course the wide sandy beach, which stretches for miles to Barneville-Plage. There is a regular boat connection with the island of Jersey is in the season, from the cozy coastal town of Barneville-Carteret, and a day trip to the English island is certainly recommended. It is also nice to take a look at the impressive tip of the Manche, the Cap de la Hague. The landing beaches (Utah Beach) are also easily accessible from Portbail. If you want to visit a city then both Cherbourg and Coutances are certainly worth a visit (both around 40 km). There are tennis courts in the village and a golf course is 7 km away at Saint-Jean-de-la-Rivière.
