Home and location On the edge of the village of Montfarville, just 1 km from the Normandy coast, lies this completely detached holiday house with a large garden. The nicely furnished house, entirely built in wood, has a partly covered terrace where you can relax. You have an unobstructed view of the countryside and the village. As all rooms are on the ground floor, the house is also suitable for people with reduced mobility. There is a beautiful beach more than 1 km from your holiday house. The center of Montfarville is 700 m away, so you can do your shopping on foot. There is a grocery, a butcher and a bakery. In nearby Barfleur (2 km) there are several fish restaurants and terraces around the harbour and you can also do most of the shopping here. In Quettehou (8 km) is a large supermarket. Barfleur is an authentic fishing village that is one of the most beautiful villages in France, but the coastal town of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue with its impressive fortress is also worth a visit. In the area you can make further trips to the landing beaches (Utah Beach), to the bustling port city of Cherbourg, or to the impressive Cap de la Hague, the northernmost tip of the Manche. Walkers will find many marked hiking trails along the coast as well as in the gently rolling, wooded hinterland.
