Home and location Detached holiday house in Denneville-Plage by the sea and beach in Normandy in the Manche department. The house has an enclosed garden and is less than 200 m from the beautiful sandy beach. The holiday house is on a quiet road and has two large, covered terraces. From the terrace on the 1st floor you can see the sea and in clear weather also the English island of Jersey. From the port of Carteret there are regular boat connections with Jersey during the season and a day trip to the island is therefore highly recommended. In the summer months there are some basic facilities in Denneville, such as a grocery, a bakery and a butcher. All further shopping can be done in the attractive town of Portbail at 6 km. Here are also some restaurants and cafes. It is especially pleasant on the weekly market day (Tuesday). There are numerous water sports options in the immediate area, such as kite surfing, beach sailing and kayaking. The area is also excellent for cycling and walking trips. There are many marked routes, both along the coast and in the hinterland. Golfers can indulge in the beautiful golf course at Saint-Jean-de la Rivière (13 km). You can also make trips in the area to the characteristic town of Coutances with its beautiful cathedral, the landing beaches (Utah Beach) or to Cap de la Hague, the northernmost tip of the department.
