Home and location Beautiful holiday house in Le Riols, located directly on the river Aveyron. This cozy, spacious and authentically furnished mansion from 1869 is quietly situated in a hamlet of about 10 houses and on one side it is connected to another house. In the garden you have a beautiful view of the hills and the farmlands. From the garden a path of more than a hundred meters leads to the river Aveyron, where you can bathe, swim or read quietly. In summer the water is not much deeper than 1 meter, so children can also play there. On the ground floor there is a bathroom and a separate toilet. On the first floor a living room, a billiard room, a kitchen and a bedroom and on the second floor there are three more bedrooms, a separate shower, a double sink and a toilet. Le Riols is located east of the lively town of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and north of the beautiful Cordes-sur-Ciel. For all your groceries, cafes and restaurants you can visit the cozy village of Varen at 3.5 km. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes in the area, it is a true hiking paradise. In addition to Saint-Antonin and Cordes-sur-Ciel, you can make trips to picturesque towns such as Bruniquel, Montricoux and Najac. Najac is home to the spectacular Gorges de l’Aveyron and in the village itself you will find the ruins of the imposing medieval castle. The towns of Albi (with the museum with work by Toulouse Lautrec), Montauban and Cahors are also worth a visit.
