Home and location Fully detached villa on an enclosed plot of land. Very peaceful location a few hundred metres from the small village of Saint-Etienne-d'Escattes. You can take lovely walks in the natural beauty of the countryside straight from the house. Saint-Etienne-d'Escattes is about 20 km to the west of the beautiful town of Nîmes with its many monuments from the Roman era. In addition to Nîmes there is also Montpellier - a very interesting town. 7 km to the south-west of Saint-Etienne-d'Escattes you will find the lovely town of Sommières on the River Vidourle. You can do most of your grocery shopping in Sommières or in Calvisson 5 km away, There is only a bakery and a café/restaurant in Saint-Etienne-d'Escattes. You can also go for trips to the wild mountain country of the Cévennes, to the attractive villages of Sauve, Anduze, Sommières and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, to Arles, Marseilles and Avignon, to the Pont du Gard or to the Mediterranean Sea at La Grande Motte (about a 35 minute drive). Golf: Nîmes (20 km).
