Home and location Charming holiday house in the village of Crespières, 30 km west of Paris. The attractively furnished house is situated on a quiet street and has a pleasant terrace at the front and a small courtyard at the rear with a view of the garden. Crespières is an authentic village, situated in a rural area surrounded by forests and farmlands, yet it is only 30 km from the Arc de Triomphe and the bustling Champs Elysées. You can take the train from various stations in the area to the capital (information about this can be found in the house). A visit to the famous Palace of Versailles with its beautiful gardens is also excellent from the holiday house. There are several marked hiking trails in the area surrounding the village and there are a variety of golf courses for golfers. The closest is that of Feucherolles at 6 km. Within walking distance of the house are some basic amenities such as a bakery and a pharmacy and there are two restaurants in the village. A small shopping center with a supermarket can be found within 4 km in Mareil-sur-Mauldre. NB The house is less suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the rather steep stairs.
