Home and location Restored natural stone holiday house, beautifully situated in the hamlet of Magnagues at 3 km from the medieval village of Carennac and from the Dordogne river. The semi-detached house is nicely furnished and has a nice terrace and a small garden. You have a beautiful view over the valley. In picturesque Carennac there is a grocery store and there are some restaurants and cafes. All other facilities can be found within a radius of 8 km in the villages of Puybrun, Betaille and Vayrac. In Carennac you can rent canoes for a wonderful trip on the river. There are good swimming possibilities at Mazeyrolles and Tauriac (approx. 5 km). The surroundings of your holiday house are also ideal for taking long walks. Golfers can play a round at the 9-hole golf course at Saint-Jean-de-Lespinasse (15 km). The central location makes it possible to explore both the Lot and the departments of Corrèze and Dordogne. There are numerous characteristic villages such as Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne and Rocamadour and nice local towns such as Martel, Saint-Céré and Beaulieu-sur-Dorgdogne. Moreover, the interesting town of Brive is also worth a visit. You can easily combine a trip to the aforementioned Rocamadour with a visit to the underground Gouffre de Padirac. The nearby Castelnau-Bretenoux castle is also worth a visit. In short, a wonderful place where you can do a lot of different things.
