Home and location Attractive, fully detached holiday house with a spacious garden, quietly located in the village of Clomot between Arnay-le-Duc and Pouilly-en-Auxois. The house dating from 1798 has been carefully restored, preserving the original oak beams, the beautiful tiled floor and the large fireplace. The owners have found a pleasant mix between contemporary comfort and the authenticity of the house. The two spacious bedrooms, the bathroom and the second toilet can be reached via an external staircase. In the beautifully overgrown, fenced garden there are nice places with several seats everywhere and you have a wide view over the countryside. The slightly sloping surroundings are inviting for cyclists and walkers, golf enthusiasts will find a beautiful 18-hole golf course at Chailly (12 km). There is a restaurant in Clomot, while all other facilities can be found in the nearby fortified town of Arnay-le-Duc (7 km). The location is central for exploring Burgundy. You can make trips to places of interest like Autun, Saulieu, Beaune and Dijon, make a trip to famous wine villages such as Meursault, Pommard and Volnay or visit some castles in the area, such as those of La Rochepot, Cormatin and Chateauneuf. The Morvan nature reserve, with its vast forests and numerous lakes, is also very easy to reach from your holiday house.
