Home and location Holiday home in a quiet location, only 500 m from the sea and the wide sandy beach of Biscarrosse-Plage on the Atlantic coast. F40.031 is the right corner house in a row of three (see also F40.013 and F40.030) with an enclosed garden of approximately 400 m2 and a terrace. The houses are almost identical on the inside. They have a beautiful location against the dunes and within walking distance of the beautiful beach. The center of Biscarrosse-Plage is one kilometer away, you can go there for all your groceries and there are several restaurants, a cozy terrace and a casino. Both the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful lakes directly in the hinterland offer everything for a varied holiday. An ideal place for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts, but also for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Just north of Biscarosse is the highest dune in Europe, la Dune de Pilat (105 m high). The two lakes, the Etang de Cazaux and the Sanguinet and the Etang de Biscarosse and the Parentis also offer numerous water sports, including canoeing, sailing and water skiing. There are numerous walking and cycling routes in the area (bike rental in the village) that take you along the sea, around the lakes and through the endless pine forests. It is nice to make a trip to the famous resort of Arcachon, beautifully situated on the bay of the same name. A little further away but nice for a day trip is a visit to the beautiful city of Bordeaux.
