Home and location Nicely furnished chalet in Muhlbach-sur-Bruche between Molsheim and Schirmeck. The village in the valley of the river Bruche is located just off the main road towards the Vosges and is therefore an excellent starting point for exploring this beautiful mountain region. But also picturesque Alsatian wine villages such as Rosheim, Boersch and the larger Molsheim are not far. The chalet is located on the property of the owner, directly in front of his house. There is a lawn where children can play happily and from the terrace you have a view of the opposite hills. In the village there is a bakery and a restaurant and in the nearby Lutzelhouse (1 km) you can get basic groceries. At Russ at 4 km is a large supermarket. Walkers will find numerous marked routes in the wooded, mountainous surroundings, including the Grande Randonnée 532 and for sporty cyclists it is a challenging area with, amongst others, the Col du Donon and the Champ du Feu. In winter there are good opportunities for cross-country skiing in the area. There are over 65 km of slopes of varying degrees of difficulty at Donon (18 km). You can also make trips to the interesting cities of Strasbourg and Colmar and to the cozy Obernai with its centuries-old corn hall.
