Home and location House in a peaceful setting on the edge of a small village close to Waimes. Some years ago the house served as a hunting lodge. You occupy the left wing of this beautiful building and the owner, who occupies the small right wing, provides the necessary attention to make your stay a pleasant one. You will enjoy absolute privacy. The interior is very sensibly furnished. The main living space is on the first floor with an open kitchen and a spacious living room with sitting and dining area that connects with a covered terrace. From the terrace there is a lovely view over the surrounding countryside. This cosy house is fully equipped and there is plenty of space around it. The house is in an area of natural beauty with extensive forests where you still regularly come across wild animals. Waimes is located to the east of Malmédy, a region known for its natural beauty. The Amblève valley and its nature reserve are but a stone's throw away. It is only 10 km to Les Hautes Fagnes (Hoge Venen) National Park, one of the most renowned areas for walking in the Belgian Ardennes. You can take lovely trips to see Reinhardstein castle (14th century) and Stavelot Abbey (11th century). Sport enthusiasts will certainly enjoy this region: there are water sports on the lakes of Robertville and Bütgenbach, winter sports at various sites and in Worriken there is a sports centre.
