Home and location This apartment on the ground floor of the owner's house is in a very quiet location amidst vineyards, around 8 km from the town of Barbotan-les-Thermes, over 40 km east of Mont-de-Marsan. You have shared use of the beautiful swimming pool and on the owner's almost 1 hectare site there is also an idyllic fishing pond (2500 m2) where fishermen can indulge themselves. The apartment is simply but nicely furnished and from the living room you have direct access to a spacious terrace. The owners, who live on the 1st floor, have a terrace on the other side of the house. This rural, gently sloping area with vineyards, forests and farmlands is ideal for taking walks and cycling trips, and Larée is also a good starting point for excursions. The nearby Barbotan-les-Thermes is a famous spa and you will find numerous cozy restaurants and nice shops. Age-old villages such as Fourcès, Larressingle and Montreal are worth a visit and everywhere in the area there are caves where you can taste the famous drink of the region, the armagnac. If you want to visit a slightly larger town then Aire-sur-l’Adour and Eauze are highly recommended. At the latter there is a beautiful 18-hole golf course (20 km). You can go to Cazaubon (5 km) for all your groceries.
