Home and location Modernly furnished apartment in a quiet location on the edge of the wine village of Nothalten in Alsace, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar. The owner, who is a winegrower and lives in the center of the village, has realized two completely independent, comfortable apartments on the floor of a room that is part of the wine exploitation. F67.101 and F67.102 are located next to each other and both have a spacious terrace from which you have a beautiful view over the adjacent vineyards. To make your stay even more pleasant, the bathroom is equipped with a double sauna. There is a bakery and grocery within walking distance and there is a restaurant in the village. There are also several "caves" where you can taste the delicious Alsatian wines. Nothalten lies on the famous "Route des Vins" and is an excellent base for exploring this varied and many renowned wine villages such as Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr and Kaysersberg. The picturesque town of Obernai with its ancient corn hall is also not far. You can easily combine it with a visit to Mont-Sainte-Odile, the monastery on the mountain that is a famous place of pilgrimage and from where you have a panoramic view. The cities of Colmar and Strasbourg are also within easy reach. And then the Vosges are also nearby. It is nice to spend a day touring the mountains and forests of the Hautes Vosges with villages such as Le Hohwald and Schirmeck. All in all a great place in all seasons of the year.
