Holiday house in Colle Val d'Elsa with pool, in Toscane

A unique experience of medieval charm with a modern twist

Borgo Santinovo is a truly special agriturismo — it is, in fact, a former medieval village that has been fully renovated and transformed into a holiday retreat! The renovation has equipped the apartments with all modern comforts while preserving the authentic historical charm and colors. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards producing grapes for the Chianti wines made right on the farm, the estate also features a terrace with a swimming pool, a barbecue area, and green lawns. Oak trees, cypresses, and mulberry trees provide plenty of shade in these lovely lounging areas.

Explore the historic surroundings

Borgo Santinovo is located near the town of Colle Val d'Elsa, known for its long-standing crystal craftsmanship. The town accounts for 95% of Italy's and 15% of the world's crystal production, which means you'll find beautiful glassware and crystal in small boutiques throughout the city. The elegant 16th-century architecture in the historic center is also a feast for the eyes.

If you're still eager to immerse yourself in history, the cities of Siena, Volterra, and Florence are all just a short drive away — each offering its own rich and ancient heritage.
