Thanks to its central location, the house is an excellent base for exploring the diverse region. Nearby you will find many charming villages such as San Casciano dei Bagni, Celle sul Rigo, Proceno and Grotte di Castro. The town of Orvieto, surrounded by vineyards, is also well worth a visit; its impressive Duomo is one of the most beautiful Romanesque-Gothic churches in Italy.
A lovely excursion is to Lake Bolsena (just over 30 km), the largest crater lake in Italy. From the lakeside town of Bolsena you can take a boat trip to the islands of Bisentina and Martana. For daily amenities you can visit San Casciano dei Bagni (8 km) and Acquapendente (15 km). In Trevinano itself there is a restaurant.
