Every first Sunday of the month, the famous antique market on Piazza Grande attracts visitors from near and far. Throughout the year, Arezzo also hosts numerous cultural and folkloric events.

Cortona (20 km), founded by the Etruscans, is also well worth a visit. It is one of Tuscany’s oldest and most picturesque towns, with narrow streets and medieval buildings. Slightly further away but easily accessible are the cities of Siena and Perugia.

For those wishing to combine culture with nature and relaxation, a trip to Lake Trasimeno (32 km) is ideal. From the charming lakeside towns of Castiglione del Lago and Passignano, you can take a boat trip to the small island in the lake.
