Beautifully restored holiday house near Tharot in the Morvan in central France, about 7 km from the city of Avallon and 15 km from the famous Vézelay with its beautiful basilica. The Morvan is a beautiful hilly and green area that is part of the Burgundy region. This house was the former outbuilding of the neighbouring château that is still used by the owners as a second residence. The house is well furnished and fully equipped. Around the house you have a garden with sun and shade spots. Beautiful places to visit in the area include the Lac des Settons and the Parc Régional du Morvan, both south of Tharot. The holiday house is only 10 km from the A6 motorway. This makes it possible to visit places further away such as Beaune (famous wine town), Autun (Saint-Lazare cathedral) or Auxerre (Chablis vineyard).
