Spacious chalet in the Bouchot Valley with stunning views
In the beautiful, open Bouchot Valley, on the edge of the village of Rochesson, you’ll find this peaceful, spacious, fully detached chalet on a private plot of 1500 m². From the south-facing terrace, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the valley and the opposite Noiregoutte forests. Around the house, there are several cozy spots to sit, and directly behind the chalet, the hiking trails begin.
The chalet accommodates 6 people and has 3 bedrooms. Bathroom 1 is located in the utility room.
The nearby charming town of Gérardmer (10 km) offers plenty of water sports on the lake, such as canoeing, rowing, sailing, and diving. For the little ones, there is a well-maintained, supervised beach with play equipment. From Rochesson, it is easy to take a trip via the Col de la Schlucht to the picturesque Alsatian wine villages, such as Riquewihr and Kaysersberg.
In winter, there are skiing opportunities just a few kilometers away at Les Truches. For more extensive winter sports, you can reach the slopes of Gérardmer and La Bresse in less than half an hour. In Rochesson itself, there is a bakery and a restaurant; for other facilities, you can go to Vagney (6 km) or Gérardmer (10 km).
The cols of the Vosges
For the sportive cyclist, this area is a true paradise. In a small region east of Gérardmer, there are famous cols such as the Col de la Schlucht (17 km, 1100 m), Markstein (20 km, 1200 m), Petit Ballon (12 km, 1150 m), and Grand Ballon (13 km, 1350 m). The green landscapes, beautiful views, and gently rolling cols make this area a perfect challenge for every avid cyclist.
