Charming holiday home with large garden, peace and hiking opportunities in the Vosges
Fully detached and tastefully furnished holiday home for 7 people, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, surrounded by a beautiful, well-maintained garden of 3,000 m². The house is located in a quiet hamlet on the edge of the forest, about 3 km from the village of Tendon and 6 km from Le Tholy, where you can go horse riding.
Right from the house, you can enjoy wonderful walks in the Bois de la Charme d’Ormond, while children will have plenty of space to play on the large grounds surrounding the house. Just 3 km away you’ll find the famous Tendon waterfall, a great outing for the whole family.
For swimming, head to the lake of Gérardmer, which also has a lovely indoor pool. In winter, the area offers excellent skiing opportunities on the slopes of Gérardmer and La Bresse.
From Tendon, you can easily make excursions to the charming town of Remiremont, the impressive Parc Régional des Ballons des Vosges with the famous Ballon d’Alsace, and via the Col de la Schlucht you reach Alsace, home to picturesque wine villages such as Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, and Colmar, which transforms into a magical Christmas village in winter, with beautiful lights and a festive market.
Just 2 km away there’s a good restaurant, in Le Tholy (6 km) you’ll find all main amenities, and for larger supermarkets you can go to St. Étienne-lès-Remiremont (20 km) and Gérardmer (18 km).
