This cozy holiday home with a private pool is located in the picturesque village of Méthamis, a beautiful Provençal village on the edge of the Gorges de la Nesque. The house is modern and tastefully furnished, equipped with all comforts, and as a special extra, it even features an authentic jukebox. The terrace and pool area are perfect for relaxing. The pool is compact, but thanks to the strong counter-current, it’s excellent for swimming. The salt electrolysis ensures soft, skin-friendly water.
The surroundings are a true paradise of vineyards, olive trees, forests, and lavender fields. In the village itself, you’ll find a café and a small grocery store; in Villes-sur-Auzon (6.5 km), there are a few restaurants, a bakery, and a grocery store, and for all other amenities, Mazan (12 km) is within easy reach.
From the house, beautiful cycling and hiking routes start immediately. For experienced cyclists, this area is a real paradise: the Gorges de la Nesque, the Col de Murs, and of course the iconic Mont Ventoux are all close by. Many cyclists start the legendary climb of the ‘Bald Mountain’ from Bédoin, only 15 km away.
There are also plenty of cultural excursions to enjoy. Visit the antique market in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Sorgue spring in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, the Papal Palace in Avignon, the fragrant lavender fields around Sault, the Saturday market in Apt, or the famous villages of Gordes and Roussillon.
