High above Mornas, on a cliff, lie the impressive ruins of a medieval castle, offering stunning views over the Rhône Valley, Mont Ventoux, and the Dentelles de Montmirail. Thanks to the central location of the holiday home, you can easily explore Vaucluse, Drôme, Ardèche, and Gard. In Vaucluse, you will find charming wine villages such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Saint-Cécile-les-Vignes, Cairanne, and Rasteau. The well-known town of Vaison-la-Romaine, 33 km away, is also easily accessible. A trip to the top of Mont Ventoux from Malaucène is highly recommended. In addition, the historic cities of Orange and Avignon, with their many monuments, are easily reachable.

In Drôme, you can enjoy the purple lavender fields around Grignan and Dieulefit during the season, and the attractive town of Nyons is especially lively on Thursday market days. In Ardèche, a trip through the impressive river gorges is a must; in Saint-Martin d'Ardèche (25 km), you can rent canoes. In Gard, the Pont du Gard, one of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts, is definitely worth a visit.
