Cozy chalet at the foot of the Mont Ventoux

This chalet is located just 1 km from the lively village of Malaucène, at the foot of the Mont Ventoux. It is part of a well-maintained property with four other chalets and a spacious shared swimming pool.

The chalets are positioned on the beautiful hillside grounds above the village, surrounded by fruit and oak trees, ensuring full privacy with no direct visibility from other chalets. You’ll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains.

The chalet has an area of 60 m² and features a large L-shaped covered terrace with garden furniture and two sun loungers. Around the pool, equipped with wide steps and a very gently sloping bottom, you will also find plenty of loungers with parasols. Near the entrance, there is a communal laundry and ironing area.

A footpath takes you to the village in about fifteen minutes. Here you’ll find grocery shops, restaurants, cafés, and a bicycle rental service.

For cycling enthusiasts, the chalet is the perfect base for climbing the legendary Mont Ventoux. Hikers can choose from numerous marked trails, and the Grande Randonnées 4 and 91 run close by. Those interested in culture will enjoy the nearby Roman ruins in Vaison-la-Romaine, as well as the charming old upper town.

The cities of Orange and Avignon are also easily reachable from the chalet. The varied, typically Provençal surroundings with markets and picturesque villages such as Le Barroux, Le Crestet and Brantes are perfect for short excursions.
