Charming holiday home among the vineyards, close to Mazan

Nestled amidst vast vineyards, just 1 km from the lively Provençal village of Mazan, you’ll find this beautifully restored, fully detached stone holiday home. The house features a lovely terrace, a cozy garden, and a spacious surrounding plot, offering plenty of privacy and tranquility.

Inside, the home is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, preserving authentic elements such as the stone staircase and the old water well (partly for decoration). From the terrace, you can enjoy stunning views of both the Dentelles de Montmirail and the famous Mont Ventoux.

All amenities are within walking distance in Mazan: a bakery, butcher, supermarket, charming terraces, and good restaurants. Nearby, you’ll find picturesque villages such as Bédoin (at the foot of Mont Ventoux), Caromb, and Le Barroux. Larger towns worth visiting include Avignon, Orange, and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue – renowned for its antique market.

From the house, you can take beautiful walks directly. Mazan is also an ideal base for both avid cyclists and those who prefer flatter routes. Swimming is possible at the recreational lake near Mormoiron (approx. 7 km), and there is a tennis court in Mazan as well.

Prachtig huisje, zou zo weer terug gaan.

Erg plezierig vakantiehuis en een heerlijke tuin met schaduw. Het overdekte terras is ook erg fijn. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren.

Heerlijk huisje dat van alle gemakken was voorzien; complete keuken, goede bedden, modern sanitair en een fantastische gas BBQ in de tuin. Gelegen midden tussen de wijngaarden met uitzicht op het stadje Mazan. Zeer uitgebreide informatie aanwezig over de omgeving in een map met veel tips, routebeschrijvingen en kaarten. Zeer hartelijke en gastvrije ontvangst door de eigenaresse. Zij was duidelijk trots op het huisje en dat kon je aan alles zien.

Zeer plezierig huis. De locatie is prachtig, de plek tussen de wijngaarden is heel mooi en het huis is een plaatje, Eigenaars zijn zeer attent en vriendelijk. Huis is goed onderhouden en schoon, alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Ligging is prima, rustig en op fietsafstand van Mazan.

Tja veelbelovend Goed gerenoveerd. Succes verzekerd! Volgende keer meer. Een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en de vrouw des huizes is zeer behulpzaam.

Net als in 2015 was het verblijf in Mazan weer geweldig. We voelen er ons erg thuis. De ontvangst van Mme Francoise was weer allerhartelijkst. Zij en haar man Gerard boden ook praktische hulp bij het huren van een renfiets die door een aanrijding ten zuiden van Lyon onherstelbaar beschadigd was. En n geluk bij n ongeluk waren de prachtige fietstochten die Frank met een locale fietsclub heeft mogen maken, dankzij deze twee fantastische mensen. Helaas moesten we onze vakantie eerder afbreken omdat de Vaucluse oranje .kleurde. Het begin en einde waren misschien anders dan gehoopt, maar de dagen tussen in waren gewoon heerlijk. De gite ligt afgelegen in de wijngaard, maar op loopafstand van het gemoedelijke Mazan met oa twee boulangers, n groente- en fruitzaak , n supermarkt en restaurants waarvan Casino toch ons vaste stekkie blijft. Met lekkere wijnen van Cave Canteperdrix en tapenades, olijfolie et cetera van Le Moulin a Huile Le Tresor des Olives halen we thuis het Mazan-gevo
