Holiday Home with Pool and View of Mont Ventoux

This charming detached stone holiday home features a terrace, a garden and a private swimming pool. It is located just 500 metres from the picturesque, elevated medieval village of Crestet, on the edge of the Dentelles de Montmirail, halfway between Vaison-la-Romaine and Malaucène. From the terrace you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mont Ventoux and the Ouvèze valley.

The house is situated next to the owner’s Provençal mas. Thanks to the retractable cover, the swimming pool can be used from April to November. In the garden you’ll find a small cabanon, ideal for safely storing bicycles. From the house, you can walk straight into the Dentelles, where numerous beautiful hiking trails await. Cyclists who wish to conquer Mont Ventoux will also find this an excellent starting point.

The location is perfect for exploring this varied part of Provence. Cultural cities such as Avignon and Orange are within easy reach, while lively Vaison-la-Romaine is practically around the corner. Famous wine villages like Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise are also nearby.

There are plenty of opportunities for sport and relaxation: bike rental and tennis courts in both Malaucène (5 km) and Vaison-la-Romaine (5 km), horse riding in Entrechaux (5 km). At just 1 km you’ll find a restaurant and a bakery, while for all other amenities, such as supermarkets, restaurants and cafés, you can head to Malaucène and Vaison-la-Romaine.

Ontzettend fijn huis. We hebben genoten. Basic Travel bedankt voor alle goede zorgen.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in een prima ingericht en schoon huisje. Vriendelijke eigenaren die vlak bij woonden maar waar je weinig van merkte. Absoluut een aanrader voor wie een rustige vakantie wil.

Bijzonder hartelijke ontvangst; fraaie ligging van het huis; mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras; weldadige rust!

Een vrijstaand huis dicht op de boerderij van de eigenaren, maar toch veel privacy. Suggesties voor de keuken: een handpers en rasp zouden handig zijn. Aardige eigenaren die een fles wijn hadden klaargezet en een pot zalige jam. Prima huis.
