Even from the road that leads to the larger village Barjols, you have wide views. Barjols has a nice, lively center and has many fountains. From Pontevès there are plenty of trips to make such as the Gorges du Verdon, the Lac de Ste Croix and to characteristic places like Brignoles, Cotignac, Carcès and Salernes. A day at the sea, near Hyeres or Fréjus, is also possible.
