Simple holiday home in Provence, near Callian and Lac de Saint-Cassien for 4 people

This detached holiday home offers a simple yet comfortable stay in a beautiful, peaceful setting. From the property, you can enjoy a lovely view of the picturesque hilltop village of Callian.

Nearby you’ll find the Lac de Saint-Cassien (5 km), a large lake with beaches, grassy areas, and plenty of opportunities for swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing, or pedalo rides. The Mediterranean Sea is less than an hour’s drive away, and the impressive Gorges du Verdon — the “Grand Canyon” of France — is also well worth a visit.

The house is ideally located between the well-known towns of Grasse and Draguignan, in the heart of the Provençal hills. In the immediate surroundings are charming villages such as Fayence, Seillans, Callian, Tourettes, and Montauroux, perched like eagles’ nests on the hillsides. Here you can experience the true atmosphere of Provence: narrow streets, old stone houses, and inviting terraces shaded by plane trees.

Fayence is home to one of the largest gliding centers in Europe, where you can take spectacular flights over the countryside. Day trips to the glamorous coastal towns of Cannes, Nice, or even Monaco are easily possible. Golf enthusiasts will find a beautiful course near Cannes (24 km).

A delightful destination for those who want to combine the tranquility of the Provençal countryside with the proximity of the sea, nature, and culture.

Wir waren schon das 3. Mal an diesem schönen Ort und jedes Mal sehr zufrieden!

Wij waren hier al voor de 4e keer. Sober maar heerlijk vrijstaand huisje!

Leuk eenvoudig huisje waar wij het zeer naar onze zin hebben. (we waren er al voor de derde keer!)

We hadden een super leuke vakantie. Het vakantiehuisje was klein maar helaas wat donker... De rustige ligging was perfect. We hebben er duizend en één wandelingen gemaakt in de buurt.

Goed huisje voor goede prijs. Slaapkamer en badkamer wel warm. Fijne overkapping boven terras. Mooie omgeving.

Het slaapgedeelte zou een verbetering kunnen ondergaan indien er horren voor het raam geplaatst zouden worden. In de keuken maakte de koudwaterkraan soms erg veel lawaai en drupte na. Er was weinig waterdruk in de douche en toilet. Er was niemand aanwezig bij aankomst en vertrek. Dit hebben wij echter niet als "storend" ervaren. Integendeel de sleutel was gemakkelijk te vinden en je kon bij vertrek je gang gaan op het tijdstip welk jezelf bepaalde.

Wij hebben genoten van het huis, het terras, de tuin en vooral van de buitendouche. Het uitzicht was prachtig, en dorpjes dichtbij zijn heel gastvrij. We misten enkel een verplaatsbare tafel om ook in de schaduw onder een boom te kunnen eten. De tafel onder het afdak is te zwaar om te verplaatsen. Een echte aanrader als je niet veel luxe zoekt.

Erg fijn dat de sleutel onder een steen lag. Na een lange reis heb je niet altijd behoefte om je steenkolenfrans op te halen. kamer boven is met regelmaat een oven. Tip voor de eigenaar: een raam aan de andere kant, dan tocht het iig lekker door. Douchebak loopt binnen 5 minuten vol. Resumerend: heerlijk huisje gelet op de prijs. Lekker veel ruimte rondom.
