Nicely furnished holiday home with garden and terrace in the village of Chef-du-Pont, 3 km from Sainte-Mère-Eglise and 15 km from the famous invasion beach Utah Beach. The semi-detached house has a nice terrace and an enclosed garden (the other half is not inhabited). Chef-du-Pont is a quiet village with a bakery and a restaurant and centrally located for exploring the peninsula Le Cotentin. All amenities can be found in the nearby Sainte-Mère-Eglise, famous for the Airborne Museum, which is located where American paratroopers were engaged in heavy fighting during the night of 5 to 6 June 1944. You can make trips to the interesting market towns of Valognes and Carentan, to the picturesque Barfleur or to the rugged northern tip of Normandy, the Cap de la Hague. A visit to the bustling port city of Cherbourg is also worth a visit as well as a visit to the cozy city of Coutances with its impressive cathedral. Eastwards you will find the sandy beaches of Ravenoville-Plage (13 km), westwards the cozy coastal town of Barneville-Carteret. From Carteret there is a regular boat connection with the island of Jersey in the season, a day trip to the English island is highly recommended.

Mooi huis met 2 badkamers wat zeker een luxe is met meerdere personen. Mooie en goed onderhouden tuin. Rustige ligging. Wel spijtig dat er maar 1 restaurant is de nabije omgeving is. Er is wel een lekkere bakkerij die dagelijks open is.
