This fully detached holiday home is located near the coastal village of Portbail in the Manche region, just 150 metres from the bay and 2 km from the wide sandy beaches of Portbail-Plage. The house is well equipped and offers a lovely enclosed garden with a view of the bay, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your holiday in peace.
Despite its quiet location, the lively centre of Portbail is only 600 metres away. Here you’ll find all essential shops, a few charming restaurants and cafés, and a bustling market every Tuesday morning.
A coastal path leads you on foot from your holiday home to the village centre in just under 15 minutes. Portbail is connected by a bridge to Portbail-Plage, where you'll find the marina and the vast beach that stretches for kilometres all the way to Barneville-Plage.
From the nearby coastal town of Barneville-Carteret, regular ferries depart in season to the island of Jersey, a great option for a day trip. Also worth a visit is the wild and impressive tip of the Cotentin Peninsula: Cap de la Hague.
History lovers can easily visit the D-Day beaches, including Utah Beach. If you're in the mood for a city trip, both Cherbourg and Coutances are about 40 km away and well worth exploring.
