Charming Detached Holiday Home with Enclosed Garden near the Coast

Enjoy peace and space in this detached holiday home for 3 people, with 2 bedrooms. The house is located on the edge of the charming village of Montfarville, close to the beautiful coast between the Pointe de Barfleur and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. In addition to the living room, there is a cozy kitchen-living area with a wood-burning stove, perfect for relaxing evenings.

In the enclosed garden, you can always find a spot in the sun or in the shade. For a day at the beach, a beautiful sandy beach is just over 1 km from the house. The center of Montfarville is 700 m away, where you can walk to local shops including a grocery store, butcher, and bakery.

The nearby Barfleur (2 km) is an authentic fishing village, considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. Around the harbor, you’ll find several seafood restaurants and terraces, and most daily shopping needs can also be met here. The coastal town of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue with its impressive fort is also worth a visit.

For walkers, the area offers many options: along the coast or in the gently rolling, forested hinterland, there are plenty of marked hiking trails. There are also many interesting excursions, such as visiting the Utah Beach invasion beaches, the bustling port city of Cherbourg, or the impressive Cap de la Hague, the northernmost point of the Manche.

Het was heerlijk om in dit huis in Montfarville te verblijven. De eigenaren waren zeer vriendelijk en een boeket hortensia's op tafel gaf het een gezellig welkom. Geweldige woonkeuken, fijne ruime tuin, super grote badkamer, grote mooie slaapkamer, met heerlijk bed. Daarbij is de zee dichtbij, je kunt lopend naar de bakker, kruidenier en slager. Dit alles, met ook nog een geweldige omgeving, is het zeker een huis om naar terug te keren.

Geen opmerkingen , we zijn altijd goed ontvang en gaan terug volgend jaar in de maand april. Of de maand mei we zullen zien .Het is er zeer rustig en voor onze border collie een zeer goede omgeving , de velden om te lopen en het strand wat wil je meer.

We zijn daar heel tevreden we hebben nu weer het huis gevonden waar we ons thuis voelen, met de houtkachel zeer gezellig en de eigenaars zijn hele lieve en vriendelijke mensen. Dus hopen we in de maand oktober terug kunnen gaan . Vriendelijke groeten Norette Vyvey Erwin Everaert uit Oostende

Mit viel Liebe eingerichtet . Sehr freundliche Vermieter ,ganz liebe Menschen . Leider war mein Französisch nicht gut so , das wir uns nur eingeschränkt unterhalten konnten . Alles da , grosses Bad , Herd Kühlschrank Ofen Microwelle Kaffemaschine , 2Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock . Esszimmer Wohnzimmer mit Couch und Fernseher . Sehr schà°ner Garten . Sehr empfehlenswert .

Heel fijn huis, supervriendelijke eigenaren, heerlijke tuin. We hadden wat problemen met de wc en internet, maar dat werd direct opgelost. Elke dag even een praatje met de eigenaren. Heel gastvrij en aardig.

Die lage ist super,wenn man es ruhig haben möchte. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfbereit,aber nicht aufdringlich.

fantastische twee weken gehad in dit huis; ideaal met omheinde tuin. Huisarts in woonplaats en grote supermarkt op 7km afstand. Moderne TV waar je van alles op aan kunt sluiten zodat je toch Nederlandstalige programma's kunt kijken of series/ films streamen, mocht je dat willen.

De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk maar we kenden ze reeds van vroeger en ze zijn heel behulpzaam , er is maar 1foutje en dat is dat er geen frigo met diepvries is maar we hebben onze plan getrokken .Dus is voor herhaling vatbaar , dus gaan we terug in de maand oktober.Het dorpje Montfarville is zeer rustig en gezellig .De bakker komt 4 maal in de week langs het huis dus hoefden we niet zelf te gaan echt een aanrader voor mensen die van rust houden. de oesters van Saint vaast la houge zijn top.

Allereerst, ik kan de vraag over het zwembad niet beantwoorden, want dat was er niet :) Het is een prima vakantiehuisje, we hebben het er fijn gehad. Onze gastheer/-vrouw boden ons een mountainbike aan om te gebruiken en dat kwam heel goed van pas. De plek is ook geweldig, het is er heerlijk stil en je bent overal heel snel, Ook de strandjes en allerlei plaatsjes zijn met de fiets goed bereikbaar.

Leuk huisje met een mooie grote tuin, mooie omgeving lekker dicht bij het strand en barfleur. Erg leuk. Met handen en voeten communiceren met de eigenaren maar dat ging prima. Een aanrader is om eigen scherpe messen mee te nemen want de karbonades snijden lukte niet. Voor een week was het helemaal prima.
